宇宙一大天地，人体一小天地，人是宇宙的缩影，一切佛菩萨皆从人身修成，文殊居左表“信、解”，；普贤居右表“行”，居右。合十表示知行合一，自我的觉醒。

“Enlightened with anjali” means once one is enlightened that he should let go all the mundane concerns, he will become a Buddha. 

The universe is a greater universe, and human, a smaller version or the epitome of the universe. All Bodhisattvas are originally human. Manjusri stands on the left representing “belief and understanding of the Buddhist sutras”. Samantabhadra stands on the right representing “practice”. Putting palms together is a symbol of combining knowledge and practice. It is an awakening of self-consciousness.
